Nice, solid Trance...

I like it. You've got a very nice revolving beat to keep things going, and the instruments are pretty darn synth-tastic! I've listened to this a couple times through, and I find it pleasing to my ear-holes. The first time through I wasn't sure if I liked the way it came in, but I have to admit that it's grown on me. You could probably make a nice loop out of it if you could connect the front and back ends, but loops can be a pain, so....yeah.

It does seem a little too repetitive, but I can appreciate the fact that that's more or less the nature of Trance. There are some cool instances where you experimented by adding something different, but those were pretty few and far between. I would have liked to hear some more key changes since there only seem to be a couple.

My suggestion is to experiment more with harmonies, and I think the bass lines could have a bit more variation, as well. When the music becomes particularly sparse around the 2:50 mark something in the timing of the bass sounds a little off-tempo, but it's difficult to tell for certain. The length is impressive at just over five and a half minutes, too. Good on ya!

I am trying to improve my melodies, as it is my only weakness in producing. As of now, I can be a little bit dull when I introduce breakdowns and climaxes. ;)

I recommend you to listen to the full version on my soundcloud page. You can get a lot more out of it, especially since it is in high quality.

Thanks for the review!

Simply Wonderful!

This is a passionately emotive arrangement, and truly befitting of the occasion. Unparalleled beauty and simplicity combined with dreamily perfect lyrics. What an amazing tribute. It truly touches my heart.

Excellent composition!

First of all, I must give you tremendous props for creating nearly a ten minute mix. Awesome achievement, to say the least. It sounds incredible, and is appropriately repetitive for Trance without being overly so. Overall, you've done a formidable job on this!

One main thing kept this from getting a perfect score from me (though I did vote 5/5): When the main electric piano parts take over, the audio starts to crackle. It does kind of take away from listening pleasure, in my opinion. A little more variance in the kicks would have been a nice addition, too...especially for your lead-ins.

Hey, I recognize this...

It's a freaky dischord remix of the Pokémon anthem! Nicely done, though I don't see the original mentioned as your inspiration. Still, this is quite different from the original version...it's kind of like Pokémon meets Luigi's Mansion! ^.^ Even though it's got some added creepiness factor behind it, it's still a really fun tune!

Excellent remix :D

I love remixes of Classical music, and Pachelbel's Canon is one of my faves. Your remix is very well done as a soft techno version...I love it!

~You replied, "Replaced the guitar?"
~And now I say, "What guitar? I've never heard a version with guitar! ^.^; I want some of what he's on! LoL!" ;)

Ah, well...he liked it. I guess that's all that really matters in the end! =^-^=

LOL! I agree with you. Jerry C has a nice rock version of Canon on Youtube, but my is more true to the original I think
