Quite possibly the best...

...difference game I have played here on Newgrounds to date. Full-screen mode definitely heightened the fun factor, and the art is exquisite. Not too easy. Not too hard. The perfect mix of difficulty and intrigue. Once the museum began to shift the difficulty level seemed to rise a bit--as did the quick finish bonus window, I believe. Overall, this game is very well done, and it prompted me to check out more about Museum of Thieves. Thank you for yet another unique gaming experience.

Score: 3796. Zero mistakes. Go me.

Pretty good game, but...

I would seriously suggest offering an option to shut off the semi-transparent "end result" indicator. Some people might like it, but I found it to be both distracting and disorienting. Nothing amazingly spectacular, but fun nonetheless. Decent job making a fun hybrid game. :)

I loved it...

The music is compelling and beautiful, and the game premise is simple yet unique. I have little else to say besides "You've done a phenomenal job" and "Please make more!"

Interesting game. Different.

This was a unique gaming experience, to be sure. The simple (mostly) 8-bit black & white graphics were an odd draw, but - for myself at least - it worked. The game itself may be a bit over the heads of some players, but I found it to be stimulating and intelligent. Also very bizarre. I like bizarre.

One minor glitch: I was unable retrieve the final Seecha rod after completing every ending until I reloaded. I could walk right over it on the map, but could not actually acquire it until completely refreshing the page and game. At least that worked, though.

I could spot the difference right away...

And it's fun factor! I've played through all of the variations of the story now, and I enjoyed each one. This was both well conceptualized and beautifully executed. The art is excellent, and the music - though repetetive - was still oddly compelling. Thanks for giving me such a fun way to spend a little time! :)

I thought it might be promising...

But it just doesn't live up to its potential. The graphics are fine, but there isn't enough time to even get one person's order complete before they leave. The amount of time you get is ridiculous. Work on that if you want this game to have even the slightest amount of playability. As it is now, this game is too frustrating to be enjoyable.

This kind of game has been done before--and done better. While the ice cream parlor idea seems innovative to me, the gameplay itself falls too flat to make good use of it. Make some adjustments (especially in the amount of time you get to fill an order), and this might become a game worth playing. It's impossibly frenetic right now.

This game pwns!

This is definitely one of the sweetest point & click games I've ever played here on NG! The graphics are stellar, sound was creepy and immersive, and it was just a helluva lot of fun to play!

My final score was 242,446! I'm the top scorer for now...sorry, guys. I found a secret room and snagged myself a golden scimitar! w00t! Gonna have to play again later and try to find more...

Beautiful music; awesome game!

This is really a great game idea. Games set to music in such a way are bound to be my favorites, provided they are done well! And this is truly one of the best.

The purple shape wins the award for coolest power-up! It was like a super-powered vacuum for all the good shapes. So cool.

I hope you'll make another version of this with more songs! I think that would add a lot of replay value to your idea.

Enjoyable little game

My only real complaint is that it often seemed like there was more "Wait" time than "Play" time. It wasn't very difficult, though it was a pain to pinpoint some of the targets. Still, that's to be expected in a game like this. It was the points where a player is only afforded about 4 or 5 seconds between "Wait" times to locate a target's weakness.

Characters and animation were cute and simple. The background graphics were very well done and stood apart from everything else. Sound and music were both decent. The various puzzles were relatively simple with only a couple of things to try at a given time. I would have personally preferred at least a little more length to the game, but it's quite good overall.

Best one yet!

Your Freakin Rooms puzzles are always pretty good, but this one is the best so far in my opinion. It's not quite as hard as Yellow Blocks Escape, but it's still pretty tricky. I think I found everything, including all ten coins.

I'd like to hear some sound effects and maybe even a little soft music in the background of these, too. Adding some good sound would really increase the overall playability. It's excellent now, so just imagine how good a little sound could make it! :) Either way, these just keep on getting better! I can hardly wait to try the next one!

Duderuud responds:

Thanks :) I've been thinking about sounds, but they just bring more work and bigger file sizes, I'm still not sure whether adding sound is worth the effort. I might just try it in the next game ;)

Thanks again!

I'm just a guy who enjoys a wide variety of artistic pursuits, both professionally and in my free time. Please check out my musical repertoire, and if you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to leave a review or send me a message.
